The NCEA Change Programme
The NCEA Change Programme is aimed at strengthening NCEA by making NCEA more accessible to all and giving equal status for mātauranga Māori in NCEA. Strengthening literacy and numeracy requirements and assessments will ensure students have functional literacy and numeracy skills that will ready them to transition into tertiary education or the workplace. Students will have fewer, larger credit standards to select from making courses more meaningful.
